| Protection of the Environment and
of Health and Safety are of prime importance to Deba UK Ltd. It will conduct
its operations in order to maintain the highest practicably achievable standard
of protection of the environment and the health and safety of all employees
and other persons who could be affected by those operations. In particular,
it is Deba UK Ltd. policy to: |
- Comply with all applicable legislation.
- Assess all significant risks associated
with its operations.
- Implement all measures considered necessary
for the protection of the environment and the health and safety of its
employees and other persons that could be affected by its operations
on its own and customer sites, and when driving vehicles owned or hired
by the company.
- Ensure that all employees and contractors
are aware of their personal responsibility in preventing harm to themselves,
to others and to the environment, encourage their support and co-operation,
consult with them and provide sufficient information, instruction, training
and supervision to enable them to discharge their responsibilities.
- Supply products that are manufactured,
packaged and transported safely and can be used and disposed of in a
safe and environmentally responsible manner. Provide employees, customers
and others that handle our products with appropriate health and safety
information.
- Reduce waste generation, energy usage,
discharges and emissions to the lowest practicable levels.
- Implement adequate measures for preventing
accidents and mitigating their effects on people and the environment.
- Seek continuous improvement in its environmental,
health and safety performance.
- Audit to ensure compliance with this
policy.
